KASPR Timing for Slack · beta

Is now a good time? Ask in Slack.

KASPR Timing answers whether now, or a time you have in mind, is typically a good hour for everyone’s internet connection, and finds the best windows for a group or a launch audience. It works from typical area patterns, in the channel where the decision is made, and it never reads your messages.

# sales6 members

An international sales team, before and after asking KASPR. Only the person who asked sees the reply until they share it.

Try it

Type a command, or click one. Replies are the app’s own wording for a staged team.

Mei Santoso9:02 AM

Launch deck is final. Can we do a quick huddle on the rollout order?

Tunde Okafor9:04 AM

Now works for me, if the line holds. It dropped twice yesterday.

Ana Reyes9:05 AM

Same here around this hour. Let’s ask KASPR before we dial in.

A demo. In your workspace the answers come from your people’s regions.

What you can do, in Slack

Every answer arrives where the question was asked. Six commands, one slash.

Find a good time

A global shortcut opens the same question as a form: pick people or a place, a length and a date range.

Workflow Builder step

“Get KASPR best time” takes participants, a duration and a window, and returns the best start, a confidence and a summary ready to post.

Why in Slack

Decisions made on the spot

Huddles, quick calls and big uploads are decided in the channel, not in a calendar. The answer belongs where the question is asked.

“Is it me or the region?”

When a call stutters, the first question is whether it is the hour or the person. A relative check against each area’s own typical week answers it in one line.

Launches without leaving the thread

A launch team planning a post for Manila, Lagos and Jakarta can rank the windows for that audience and share the result with everyone in the channel.

Permissions and privacy

Five bot scopes, each with its reason. No user tokens, no history scopes.

ScopeWhy
commandsProvide the /kaspr slash command.
chat:writePost replies and shared results, and DM the installer on install.
users:readRead the Slack profile time zone of mentioned people as a fallback when they haven’t set a region.
usergroups:readExpand a mentioned user group into its members for best-time lookups.
im:writeOpen a DM with the installer (welcome) and with a person who asks to be reminded to check again later.
  • —KASPR never reads messages.
  • —It stores the workspace install, each opted-in person’s chosen region, any saved audiences and a monthly count of checks. Uninstalling deletes all of it.
  • —No AI model is used, and nothing from Slack is used for training.

Beta version

KASPR Timing for Slack is in beta.

  • KASPR Predict is in beta. Answers, wording and features may change, and the model’s parameters are still being calibrated.
  • Predictions are not based on the most recent data. They come from KASPR’s typical week for each place, built from measurements up to 16 July 2026, so they describe how a place usually behaves, not today’s conditions, outages or recent changes to a network.
  • Treat every answer as a tendency to weigh, not as advice to rely on. Each answer names the data vintage it was computed from.

Ask Slack whether now is a good time.
